Part Fifty Two
Only one of the 1,000 sons of King Śaṅkha will be reserved for succeeding to the throne. His other 999 sons, together with 84,000 people, will all renounce family life in order to be in the Buddha Dharma. Countless multitudes such as these, seeing the suffering in the world and the blazing force of the five aggregates, will all renounce family life in order to be in the Dharma of Maitreya Buddha.
