原创芋香蛋糕

材料:
1 1/2 磅芋头,切片, 加1/4 cup sugar煮20分钟, 打成芋泥。
1/2 cup用来烤蛋糕,剩下的夹到两层蛋糕之间。
蛋糕:
1/2 cup taro root paste
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup low fat milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 egg whites
除了蛋白,所有材料放到mixer打1分钟, 加蛋白,打一分钟。
分到两个用油抹好的蛋糕盘,放到烤箱里350烤30分钟。
frosting:
1 stick butter
1 cup. shortening
1 cup. sugar
3 tablespoon. flour
2/3 cup. milk
1 teaspoon. vanilla
1. Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
2. Add flour, milk and vanilla.
3. Beat with mixer for about 12 minutes until peaks are formed.
为了有芋头的淡紫色,我加了8滴红色和6滴蓝色food color。
