前來觀看晚場演出的ABC電視台新聞主播赫爾．克萊門特（Hal Clement）先生被神韻藝術深深折服。他讚嘆：「晚會中的舞蹈非常美，讓人印象深刻。尤其是很多舞蹈都來源於優美的故事，不僅形式上非常美，而且非常有內涵。他說：「這樣的演出使西方觀眾能夠親近中國藝術，親近中國的舞蹈、音樂等等。」
「非常壯觀！非常炫目！」他說，如果用兩個詞來表達自己對神韻晚會的印象，那就是「壯觀」（spectacular）和「炫目」（dazzling）。他說，自己從來沒有看過類似的演出，今天大開眼界。
克萊門特是ABC電視台聖地亞哥當地分台的新聞主播，他說，自己是藝術愛好者，常常觀看表演。他對神韻藝術團中西合璧的交響樂隊印象深刻。他說：「音樂非常偉大！非常美！那幾個獨唱節目，歌唱家的聲音非常好！不同凡響。」
