看看美国人感恩节大餐吃什么？(组图)
美国的感恩节是仅次于圣诞节的第二大节日,是具有浓郁北美特色的节日。 美国的感恩节（Thanksgiving Day）始于1621年，那时美国还未独立。当年经历了冬季的大饥荒，而普里茅斯殖民地（Plymouth Colony）年终幸有大丰收，殖民地总督威廉.布莱德福（William Bradford）颁布了一天全国的感恩日，让人民设宴谢上苍。在国家的谢恩宴上，四只土产的火鸡被选定为晚餐的菜肴。以后当地仍有类似的习俗，只是没有特定的日子。1789 年美国大革命（American Revolution）之后，美国第一任总统乔治.华盛顿（George Washington）正式宣布11月26日为全国的感恩日。至于将感恩日定为美国节日的总统是亚伯拉罕.林肯(Abraham Lincoln)，自1863年起，十一月的第四个星期四就是感恩节。从此以后，庆祝感恩节便正式成为美国的风俗，教会亦举行宗教崇拜仪式。感恩节逐渐成为西方国家的文化，一家人藉此聚首一堂，享受美味的感恩节大餐，是美国人一年中最快乐的时刻之一。
火鸡是一种原产于北美洲的家禽。火鸡体型比一般鸡大，可达10公斤以上。火鸡翼展可达 1.5 - 1.8 米。火鸡是美洲特产，在欧洲人到美洲之前，已经被印地安人驯化。因为欧洲人觉得它的样子像土耳其人的服装：身黑头红，所以称它为“土耳其”。欧洲人很喜欢吃烤鹅。在移民到美洲之后，还没有养好鹅就有了吃鹅的要求，于是就吃火鸡，竟然发现火鸡比鹅好吃。而且北美洲有很多火鸡。于是烤火鸡成了美国人的大菜，重要节日中必不可少。一只火鸡足够供12到16位客人享用。

平时，美国人的食品较为简单，这个国家以流行快餐而闻名－ McDonald, Taco Bell, Togo's, Subway, Quiznos, KFC, Chipotle, IHOP, Chili's, CPK等，然而，感恩节的晚餐食物数量却相当丰富、品种繁多、烹制考究、别具一格。
感恩节大餐主要吃的就是火鸡，营养丰富。烤制时，将核桃仁、玉米渣、香肠、洋葱、葡萄干碎末沾一些肉汁卤，味道鲜美，十分可口。另外，餐桌上还有南瓜馅 饼、红薯、玉米、洋栗子、红莓果冻、酸果酱、苹果酒、白葡萄酒等。可以说，感恩节的晚餐，是美国人一年中最重要、最丰盛的一顿家庭餐，全家人边吃边饮，有 说有笑，分外温暖亲切。
