Yesterday I met aFuerdai (literally: "rich second generation"). He claimed that he was the heir of some sort of big cooperation. I couldn’t help laughing out loudly. What is a big cooperation? How big can your business be?  Ever since my childhood, my teachers have kept telling that I was the heir of Communism. But I never bothered to tell anyone! I deeply understood one needed to be low-key, and observe disciplines.

昨天遇到個富二代，說自己是什麼集團公司的接班人。我都忍不住笑出聲了，一個集團算什麼，事業能有多大，我在上小學時，老師就說我是共產主義的接班人，我都沒給任何人透露過這件事！因為我深知，做人要低調，一定要有紀律。

Now I am nearly 60 years old. Although the central committee of the Party has never sent anybody to discuss with me how I should take over our Communism yet, I am still managing to hide at the bottom level of the society quietly. I always recite silently in my heart our vow: “Always be prepared!…”

雖然我已經奔60了，到現在中央也沒人來找我談具體怎麼接班，但我仍然堅持默默地潛伏在社會最底層。內心一直反复默念那句誓言：時刻準備著！ ……

Half an hour ago, I received a call from a stranger. He asked if I needed a loan. I said yes. He happily asked: “How much?” I said: “5 billion!”  He asked: “Do you have any collateral?” I replied, “Yes, I have a building. “ He asked, “Where is the building?” I replied, “It is theTiananmen Tower.” He asked, “Who are you?” And I replied, “The heir of Communism!”

半個小時前，接到一個陌生電話，對方問我需不需要貸款？我說要……對方很高興問：要多少？我 說：50個億！ ……他問：有抵押物嗎？我答：有樓。對方：哪裡的樓？答：天安門城樓……… 對方問：你是什麼人？我回答：共產主義接班人！
